Sales AI in its own words

We’ve seen the hype, but what is the future of AI in sales?

You were either asleep for the past few months or marooned on a desert island if you missed the hype surrounding ChatGPT, OpenAI’s artificial intelligence chatbot that was launched in November 2022. The system quickly became a social media sensation due to its detailed responses and articulate answers across many spheres of knowledge.

That said, flaws soon became apparent, not least its sometimes-patchy factual accuracy and the ability of users to manipulate the system into breaching safeguards designed to avoid threats to society. Commentators have warned the technology could be used to spread disinformation, steal the work of copyright holders such as artists, authors and illustrators, while advocates argue that the technology could dramatically boost productivity by automating tasks previously carried out by people.
