ICSC VIRTUAL – International Collegiate Sales Competition – hosted by Florida State University, USA.

11-14 November 2020

The Collegiate World Cup of Sales is the ultimate measure of a university sales programme’s focus on overall business revenue-generating skills. This year’s competition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, will be held entirely online. There will be a role-play event (four rounds) held in tournament style that will simulate a real complex-selling situation where needs are developed in early meetings leading to a solution presentation and final purchase decision. This aspect of the competition will include some aspects of international business. The sales management simulation event is a pre-event elimination competition using the Wessex Learning Sales Management Simulation (SMS). Two weeks before ICSC begins, the Set Sail on Your Career Part A will involve all registered participants and consist of a competition based on knowledge and skills around specific infomercials. The grand prize for the most points overall is a four-day vacation at Disney World. The speed selling event consists of two rounds of “elevator speech” type presentations. Set Sail on Your Career Part B is the careers fair which takes place on 11 November, starting at 08.30am. In Part B, competitors will be required to conduct Zoom meetings with at least 10 of the sponsors and demonstrate their interest in career starting positions, exploring possible future careers and bringing opportunity information to fellow students who did not participate in ICSC.

(ICSC 2021 will be 10-13 November 2021.)
